Bilster Berg Race Resort.
I hear you say where ?
The Bilster-Berg Circuit is located next to the city of Paderborn in Northern Germany.
It is a state of the Art circuit opened in 2013 with one aim which is to provide one of the best driving experiences in Europe.
I believe it does this and it’s well worth the trip, it has something for everyone and it is not to be viewed as “just a track day”
Track days at Bilster-Berg are limited due to it being privately owned as in the same way Ascari in Spain is operated. It has a first class restaurant on site that is hard to beat.
It was designed by Hermann Tilke’s who is responsible for many of the modern F1 circuits. However at Bilster Berg he displays his ability to design anything other than a synthetic, F1 venue, you really should take a visit to the Bilster Berg Race Resort.
With big elevation changes, blind corners, swooping curves and surrounded by woodland, at times you might think you actually are on the Nordschleife. With 19 corners and 44 dips and crests, its definitely exciting to drive.
Double World Rally champ Walter Röhrl also had some input into the course design, so it is perhaps not surprising the resulting course has more than a few similarities to a mountain rally stage.
